Thomas Schattovits
Director, Sales
Born in Austria, Thomas moved to New Zealand in the ’90s to work as an alpine mountain guide at Mt. Cook.
Thomas has 25+ years of residential construction experience in Australia and New Zealand including residential flats in Sydney, luxury homes in Wanaka, and developing a prefabrication method for straw bale panels. Thomas loves working with recycled building materials, especially NZ native timbers.
Thomas has 3 years of Micro Tiny House living experience, and has recently moved from Wanaka to Nelson to help establish the Nelson Tiny House Factory, and live on a boat (part-time at first).

We work with an enthusiastic, dedicated team. Dan, our talented do-it-all branch manager, foreman and carpenter and his dog Fergus, Drew, and Inka and Fabian, a handy couple.
Our plumber Craig and electrician Phil are locals and extraordinary tradesmen who understand Tiny House requirements.
Other local specialists include painters, heating installers, floor layers, and tilers who complement the picture and love working on Tiny Homes.
Our suppliers for steel trailers, framing, window joinery, claddings, linings, plumbing and appliances, and floor coverings are hand-picked, and local where possible.
